Building Bridges. Building Bridges 2.0 presents foundational principles of health equity and racial justice, as well as their role in data / evidence and community engagement. The four modules include examples, activities, discussion questions, and resources to facilitate deeper learning on these topics. On Jan 21, 2025, Prevention Institute marked the National Day of Racial Healing with a virtual panel on lived experience, public health, and racial justice. Staff leaders shared how their work advances healing, equity, and community-centered approaches to health, safety, and wellbeing.
On Wednesday after the election, we gathered as a staff. It was good to be in community, to share and hold space together, and to find comfort and safety in that space.
