Texas State Policy & Advocacy

Advancing community-led policy solutions across health, education, and housing.

Texas State Policy & Advocacy

We envision a Texas where all communities can thrive in safe, healthy environments. Our Texas policy and advocacy work is rooted in multisector collaboration and a commitment to advancing policy change within a challenging political landscape—particularly across health, education, and housing.

We partner with local coalitions in the Houston region and with statewide community organizations, public systems, nonprofits, and student leaders to take collective action. Together, we work to build safe and supportive school environments, advance health equity, and address Texas’s eviction crisis by shifting policies, systems, and practices toward more equitable outcomes.
