Public Land for Public Good: Advancing Community Stewardship of Public Land — Webinar
Community stewardship of land offers sustainable, equitable pathways for the future. Partnerships among community-based and governmental organizations can transform underutilized public land to create vibrant, life-affirming greenspaces, deeply affordable housing, nature-based solutions to climate risk, and centers for mutual aid and community connection. On June 4th, Prevention Institute was joined by The Lincoln Institute for Land Policy, South Bronx Unite, and Central Texas Interfaith in a conversation about the possibilities of public land for public good. Viewers will learn about scalable models and useful resources, including a new brief Public Land for Public Good: Advancing Community Stewardship of Land.
