Community Safety Through Racial Justice Learning Series #3, July 20, 2021

In this video Prevention Institute's La’Quana Williams, Zachary Tarro, and Xavier Lofton facilitate the final session of a three-part bi-monthly learning series for local health jurisdictions and their community and government partners on applying racial justice principles and practices to build community safety.

Building on the previous two sessions, this series finale offers concepts and frameworks that aid the development of a organizational racial justice work plan.

Following the introduction of these concepts and frameworks, the Santa Clara Public Health Department’s Lidia Doniz details her experience through this process, and moving beyond being a trauma-informed organization to one that is healing-centered.
