Engaged new sectors in preventing intimate partner violence

Prevention Institute facilitates Safety Through Connection, an initiative that supports organizations that work on other issues—such as nutrition and physical activity, worker rights, and mental health—to focus on preventing intimate partner violence and promoting safe relationships. The program bolsters community coalitions in McKinleyville, Oakland, Fresno, Los Angeles, and San Diego, Calif.
