2022

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released Resources for Action, an updated suicide technical package we supported.

In November 2022, the CDC Injury Center released the Suicide Prevention Resource for Action, the update and expansion of Preventing Suicide: A Technical Package of Policy, Programs, and Practices. Prevention Institute and our partners—the Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASP) and RTI International—played a key role in updating the resource to ensure that it reflects current contextual and experiential research and strategies for preventing suicide. The Suicide Prevention Resource for Action complements the toolkit of online suicide and trauma prevention modules we developed with CLASP in 2021 through an aligned Cooperative Agreement with the CDC. Funder: This project is supported by Cooperative Agreement No. 6 NU38OT000305-02-03 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of the Department of Health and Human Services or the CDC.
