TAKE ACTION NOW: Call Your LA County Supervisor

TAKE ACTION NOW: Call Your LA County Supervisor

The LA County Board of Supervisors will meet to discuss COVID-19 relief efforts TOMORROW, Tuesday, March 31, and, as a member or the Healthy LA Coalition, Prevention Institute urges you to call your County Supervisor to voice support for policies that will improve conditions for LA’s most vulnerable residents.

We're all feeling the impacts of COVID-19, but low-wage workers and homeless residents deserve focused resources to help them weather this pandemic. We need a decisive public health and economic response that prioritizes elderly residents, low-wage workers, working families, the undocumented, the unhoused, and the under- and uninsured. The Healthy LA Coalition has a script you can use for your call, and a list where you can find your Supervisor's phone number.

Please call TODAY

The steps our local elected officials take to respond to coronavirus now will have a lasting impact. Because health is much more than just the absence of illness, Prevention Institute urges you to call on LA County Supervisors to enact policies that will secure housing, paid sick leave, and stronger accommodations for the health and hygiene of unhoused residents of LA County.
