The seven Intersections communities—Anaheim, Central Orange County, South Orange County, the High Desert, Eureka, Sonoma, and Napa—will work on issues like affordable housing, education, workforce development and living wages, immigration, community trauma, and civic engagement as strategies to improve population health and address health inequities. Priority issues and strategies were identified by community-based organizations, residents, and local stakeholders. The initiative, which is funded by St. Joseph Health Community Partnership Fund and facilitated by Prevention Institute, will take place from 2018 through 2020. We look forward to sharing lessons along the way.
