Nathalie joined PI with over a decade of experience building operational infrastructure for mission-driven organizations, and she’s excited to bring that same rigor and care to strengthening PI’s internal systems and culture.
Before PI, Nathalie spent 12+ years leading operations, grants, and strategy across the nonprofit, education, and tech sectors. As Senior Director of Operations and Grants at the Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley, she led operational strategy, budgeting, and HR while expanding the organization’s funding base to advance its work building leadership pipelines and economic power for Latinas across the region. There, she served as project lead for Health and Wealth: Status of Latinas in Silicon Valley, the first report of its kind examining Latinas’ socioeconomic status and its correlation to social determinants of health—a project she remains connected to today. Her leadership has been recognized with a 2024 Latinos 40 Under 40 honor, along with commendations from state assemblymembers and county supervisors for her contributions to the field.
Earlier in her career, as Director of Operations and Integration at The Primary School, she restructured operations teams and modernized school systems to improve efficiency and accessibility. As Executive Director and Director of Operations at Homies Empowerment, she grew the organization’s staff and secured significant grant funding to support its community empowerment work. She also spent time at Facebook supporting global community engagement programs and Employee Resource Groups.
Nathalie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Latina/o Studies and Sociology from San Francisco State University and a Master’s in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Social Justice Leadership at Santa Clara University. A proud daughter of Colombian immigrants and Bay Area native, Nathalie brings a deep commitment to equity, community, and building systems that serve the people they’re meant to. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking Bay Area trails, traveling with her son, and reading.
