Elliana provides administrative support for the Finance and Operations team across finance, operations, and human resources. In her role, she supports the development and advancement of systems, processes, and practices that strengthen organizational effectiveness and create a positive staff experience across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, benefits administration, trainings, performance review cycles, records management, and offboarding.
During her time at PI, she has stewarded initiatives that strengthen workplace practices and cultivate a more consistent, supportive, and people-centered organizational culture. Her work includes developing PI’s supervisor learning series, shaped by employee feedback and leadership insights, advancing compensation and benefits practices through market research and benchmarking, and transforming the employee handbook process into a more collaborative living document grounded in staff perspectives. She has also enhanced employee lifecycle systems through the implementation of a centralized onboarding process and supported greater transparency by developing annual total compensation statements that help staff better understand their overall compensation.
Prior to joining Prevention Institute, Elliana built a background in social justice and office operations, including supporting the San Francisco Public Works Racial Equity Action Plan and serving through the Leo T. McCarthy Center for Public Service and the Common Good Fellowship. These experiences shaped her commitment to people-centered work and her approach to building systems, strengthening organizational practices, and turning priorities into meaningful action.
