Learning Lab #1 introduces a public health approach to violence, drawing on CDC tools and the role of public health partners. It explores pathways to violence and safety through Prevention Institute’s Community Safety Realized framework and highlights five racial justice principles to guide action.
Learning Lab #1, Healing with Communities and Intergenerational Organizing, explored healing-centered strategies rooted in cultural strengths and “relationships as medicine,” while uplifting youth-led and intergenerational organizing approaches to advance community-driven violence prevention.
