UNITY invites you to a special session of the American Public Health Association (APHA) annual meeting, Prevention Works: A Public Health Approach to Preventing Violence that Affects Youth on Tuesday, October 30, at 2:30 p.m. UNITY Project Director Rachel Davis will moderate the session, which will highlight local innovations in Cleveland and San Diego. Professor Howard Pinderhughes of UC San Francisco will present on UNITY, and the session also features Howard Spivak, director of the Division of Violence Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
