Tell the House Energy and Commerce committee to support prevention

There’s still time to let the House Energy and Commerce Committee know that you don’t want them to eliminate the Prevention and Public Health Fund. The Committee is hosting its markup at 10 AM EST-make sure that they hear from prevention supporters like yourself.

Contact your representatives and the leaders of the House Energy and Commerce committee.  Educate them about the value of community prevention, and why they should stand up for the Prevention and Public Health Fund. We've made it easy: one simple click is all it takes to send a short letter or add your name to our petition. It will take you just two minutes, but it could make all the difference in protecting this critical and unique funding that puts health ahead of politics.

In addition to sending a letter and signing our petition, call Representatives Fred Upton, Chair and Henry Waxman, Ranking Member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and voice your support for community prevention. Use our talking points to guide your conversation:

Fred Upton, (R-MI), Chair: (202) 225-3761
Henry Waxman, (D-CA), Ranking Member: (202) 225-3976

Contact the House Energy and Commerce committee members now.

Thank you for your ongoing engagement and leadership to protect prevention. We will keep you updated with the latest developments and will continue to call on you to make sure that our decision makers hear about the great prevention work happening across the nation.
