Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator with the California Department of Public Health

The Office of Health Equity (OHE) is recruiting for one Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) to be part of the Business Operations Unit team in Sacramento. The Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator will assist in coordination of mandated OHE work which includes:

-OHE’s Advisory Committee engagement of members and stakeholders;

-Coordination of logistics for quarterly advisory meetings, Advisory Committee agenda and development in coordination with stakeholders and leadership team;

-Leads recruitment efforts for new members;

-Researches legislation and performs bill analysis;

-Serves as the Climate and Health team lead analyst;

-Writes, tracks and reports progress on the Public Health Chapter of Safeguarding California Reducing the Risk document.

Individuals who are currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list eligibility, are in the process of obtaining list eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility (please attach your letter, if available). SROA and Surplus candidates are given priority; therefore, individuals with other eligibility may be considered in the event no SROA or Surplus candidates apply. Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).
