Join us for CPEHN's next webinar, Equity and the ACA: Expanding Access through the Low-Income Health Program on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at 10 am. The LIHP currently provides basic health services to nearly 275,000 individuals - the majority (67%) of whom are people of color - with the potential to cover many more over the next year.

Bob Baxter and Alice Mak from the Department of Health Care Services will provide a brief overview of the Low-Income Health Program (LIHP) and the state's plan to transition those who are currently enrolled to Medi-Cal and the Health Benefit Exchange in 2014. Linda Leu from Health Access will discuss outreach efforts and strategies to ensure successful implementation of LIHP programs and the state's transition plan in 2014.
