Steps toward prevention and equity: Reflections on the 2013 CA legislative session

This week, California’s legislative session wrapped up--and it’s time to tally the victories for health and equity. These new laws commit California to supporting human-powered transportation in all California communities, helping all mothers meet their breastfeeding goals, leveraging federal health reforms funds to improve the health of California’s most vulnerable people, and more. 

In our latest California Blog post, Prevention Institute’s Jeremy Cantor reflects on the advances made over the past year and previews the upcoming legislative session:
