Prevention Institute is working with BHRS to develop a framework that identifies strategies to reduce the number of county residents needing mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) services. The framework focuses on primary prevention and identifies policy and organizational practices that will promote emotional and psychological well-being for all residents.

California Campaign to Eliminate Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Health
The Campaign was dedicated to advancing systemic change to reduce disparities and improve health outcomes for all Californians. The resulting Health for All report identifies nine priority health disparity issues, and delineates institutional, governmental, and community strategies to improve healthcare and the environments in which people live, work, and go to school.
